## Questions

**Is treg.to free to use in Cursor?** Installing is free and every new team starts with $1.00 of calls. After that each call is metered from the team's prepaid balance at the provider's own rate, with no markup, no subscription and no seats. Calls on your team's own keys are free.

**Do I need API keys from the providers?** No. treg.to makes the upstream request on its own key and relays the answer, so Cursor never holds a provider credential. If your team already pays for a provider, register that key and those calls are never metered.

**What does a call cost?** It depends on the job and the provider: from well under a cent for a keyword lookup to a few cents for a verified work email. treg.to adds $0.000 on top of the provider's rate, and Cursor tells you the price before it spends it.

**Does treg.to pick the provider for me?** No. Where several providers do one job they are shown side by side with prices and measured reliability, and Cursor picks, or you tell it how. treg.to does not route or fail over between providers automatically.
